Since inception, PGWFI foundation conference in 2005, took resolution to handle and effectively intervene into the issues of Contract Workers all over the country with right earnest followed by the joint struggle of both permanent and contract workers in Oil & Gas organisations against the respective managements and the oppressive, anti-labour policies of Central Govt. as a whole, in up & down stream.

In conjunction to the above, national contract workers’ convention held at New Delhi followed by number of regional conventions held at different parts of the country which includes Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Guwahati etc. where large nos. of permanent workers also participated.
